The Ality Home Theater is our all-in-one solution that caters to movie goers who enjoy viewing movies in the privacy and comfort of their homes. Equippedwith the most advanced x86 microprocessor and high-end audio/video hardware available to date, this appliance delivers high-quality picture and sound that rival those of professional systems. With a 27” 1366x768-pixel TFT LCD panel, our product delivers both standard-definition (480p) and high-definition picture (720p) and sound. Shipped pre-installed with the latest Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition, our product not only allow our customers to bring the theater experience home, it also functions as a MP3 server, a radio, a digital video recorder, a television with time-shifting capabilities. All of these functions are available on an ergonomic handheld remote or via a user-friendly on-screen display (OSD) if the user prefers keyboard and mouse. Recently, we successfully tested our prototype with WMVHD-encoded DVD titles (720p) and ATSC transport stream (720p) files. The results were beyond as we expected: the hardware performed perfectly without any frozen frames or sound effect out of sync. We expect the production version will set the bar for our competitors.
